Labs gives new capabilities room to be explored before they become product commitments. Successful work may inform VANT, SYNT, or a separate offering; anything that graduates is reviewed for reliability, maintainability, and fit before it is presented as ready to ship.
From Idea To Production
Identify
Find the gap — a technology worth exploring, a capability the product line doesn't have, a problem worth solving better.
Prototype
Build a working version fast enough to learn from it — not polished, but real enough to expose the hard problems.
Evaluate
Determine whether the prototype is worth hardening into a product, integrating into VANT or SYNT, or shelving.
Graduate
Projects that pass evaluation move from Labs into a division — properly engineered, documented, and ready to ship.

What Becomes Public
HefTek Labs explores and validates ideas before they become part of a public product. Internal tools, private workflows, prototypes, and operational details stay private unless HefTek deliberately announces them. Not every experiment becomes a release; public pages describe only the offerings HefTek has chosen to present publicly.
